CRD DOGG SOCIETY BOARD MEMBERS

Eulala Mills grew up in Victoria. She has been working in public service her entire adult life. She is an avid hiker and is grateful for all the spaces in the CRD that allow for time in nature with her beloved labradoodle, Griffin. In 2021, Eulala along with Trish, started advocating to remind our politicians that citizens expect decisions that affect public access to parks (and literally everything else) be directed by evidence and facts. She did not expect that this would be the work of years nor that it would become a grassroots movement that created CRD DOGGS. She is grateful for the whole community that has come together and is humbled by the support shown to the Society.

Trish Fougner is a long time resident of Saanich and a Mount Doug High grad. Mount Doug (PKOLS) has been a part of her life since she was a young child from hikes with her friends and their dogs, running miles and miles on the trails to now more walks and hikes. Trish has been living in the Gordon Head area for the past almost 30 years. She has a passion for health and wellness and loves to hike and explore Vancouver Island. Her career background is government communications, event management and marketing. Trish is dog-mom to Shadow, her now 11-year old lab who loves to explore as much as anyone. “Eulala and I started this advocacy together in 2021, we both wanted a community that is heard and one that creates open dialogue to policy decisions that affect residents. We are just beginning on this journey and we know that through the Society, we can make a lasting impression on how our community should look and feel.”
